HOTEL PITRIZZA - A CHEVAL BLANC PROJECT
Hotel Pitrizza, Costa Smeralda, Italy - Construction Manager – Currie & Brown
As Construction Manager with Currie & Brown, I was responsible for overseeing the refurbishment and extension works at Hotel Pitrizza, one of the most prestigious luxury hospitality destinations in Costa Smeralda, Sardinia.
I coordinated contractors, consultants and stakeholders throughout the construction phase, ensuring programme, quality and safety objectives were achieved while maintaining the standards expected of a world-class hospitality development.
The role involved the management of architectural, structural and MEP works, progress monitoring, quality inspections, risk management and day-to-day site coordination within a live luxury hospitality environment.
LUXURY & LARGE FORMAT RETAIL
Store Development Programme – Italy
Responsible for the delivery and coordination of major retail developments across Italy on behalf of one of Europe's leading international retailers.
Acting as Project Manager throughout the development lifecycle, responsibilities include landlord coordination, design management, construction oversight, programme control, stakeholder management and delivery of shell and fit-out requirements. The role involves working closely with clients, consultants, contractors and landlords to ensure projects are delivered in accordance with operational, commercial and technical objectives.
Projects include the development and refurbishment of large-format retail units within major shopping centres, requiring extensive coordination of architectural, structural, MEP, fire safety and operational interfaces.
LUXURY RESIDENTIAL CONSTRUCTION
High-End Residential Developments – Malta | Construction Manager
Led the construction management of high-end residential developments in Malta, overseeing the delivery of luxury private villas and bespoke residential properties from early construction stages through to completion.
Responsible for coordinating contractors, consultants and specialist trades, ensuring that construction activities were delivered in accordance with design requirements, programme objectives, quality standards and client expectations. Particular attention was dedicated to the execution of premium architectural details, high-specification finishes and the integration of complex building services within luxury residential environments.
Working within demanding project schedules and quality requirements, the role involved continuous site supervision, progress monitoring, quality inspections, stakeholder coordination and management of construction interfaces to achieve successful project delivery.

My professional background encompasses Construction Management, Project Management, Health & Safety Management, contract administration, stakeholder engagement and operational readiness, providing a comprehensive understanding of both technical and commercial project requirements.
Qualified as Health & Safety Coordinator for Design and Construction Stages (CSP/CSE), Prevention and Protection Service Manager (RSPP) and Health & Safety Trainer, I bring an integrated approach to risk management, regulatory compliance and project governance throughout the entire project lifecycle.
Throughout my career, I have successfully managed multidisciplinary and international teams, coordinating clients, developers, consultants, contractors and specialist suppliers across diverse cultural and operational environments.
